The food here is amazing, we were skeptical at first but once we tried it it was like my tongue had gone to a carnival where none of the games are rigged and you will every single time. We almost tried every item in the menu and we were never disappointed with the flavors, and even when I had mentioned to them about a chicken cooked with jalapeños I had tried somewhere else they actually went out of their way to get the items they needed to make the request I wish I could give them 10 stars for that. Best Chinese food I ever tried, and don't come here with expecting a quick bite, this place cooks by the order it is not your typical fast food chain where everything is pre cooked and out the door in less than a minute. This is real food keep that in mind

We have been here twice and our opinion of our meals has been mixed.
1st time we got Wonton soup, beef & broccoli, and kung pao chicken.
We were really impressed with the soup and the kung pao. Excited to have a go-to Chinese place in Santa Maria. The Beef was super rubbery, but still the dish was good.
The 2nd time we came we were really disappointed. The Kung pao was blah, chicken wasn't appetizing and the dish was literally half peanuts.
My understanding is there are peanuts in it, and not the main ingredient.
I ordered sweet and sour pork, because I wanted to try it. They didn't have pork, ok' i'll try the chicken. It was dry breaded chicken bits and a small handful of vegetables. And the sweet and sour? A TINY cup of sauce on the side! I ate the vegetables, and fed the chicken to the dogs, seriously not palatable.
We also got egg-rolls, but those were also a little gross. Nothing we can specifically point out, just something soft and bland inside that was not appetizing. I've had better frozen egg-rolls from Costco.
So First impression was Great, second impression was a little gross.
Also on Sunday they have on the menu order over $30 and get potstickers. Maybe its a dine-in only? No potstickers in our take-out box :(
Maybe it was a bad day, or different cooks on Sunday? -

Not very many vegetarian options and the ones they do have are not flavorful. When I asked what was vegetarian on the menu, they just stared at me. I ended up ordering the vegetable fried rice and a Thai tea with boba. Not the best I've had and it seems overpriced for what you get. Also, they only have one bathroom and as you can see from the picture, you have to use rough paper towels as toilet paper. Not a fan of this place.

I got strawberry milkshake and it's nothing special. What's worse is their Popcorn chicken which is stale and taste like cinnamon. Not worth the penny nor the calorie

Boba House is great. I usually have their Orange Chicken Rice Bowls or Shrimp Vegetable. It is a great portion and way better than Panda Express. It is moderately priced, but I will take it any day than Panda Express. Their boba smoothies are a little icy for me, but they taste refreshing, I usually like my smoothies creamy. I will be coming in again.
